Following a distinguished career in business, Paul Sneider joined Flagler College in 2008 as an adjunct professor in the Business Department. Within a few years, he was promoted to a full-time Visiting Lecturer, where he quickly became a beloved mentor to his students. With a gift for teaching—especially first-year students—Paul played an instrumental role in preparing them for success both in and out of the classroom.
Beyond his work in the classroom, Paul was a passionate supporter of Flagler Athletics, often found on the sidelines cheering for and mentoring student-athletes. His impact stretched far beyond coursework—his advice, real-world insights, and genuine care for his students shaped countless lives.
Paul passed away unexpectedly in October 2022, leaving a lasting void at Flagler College. To honor his legacy, the Paul Sneider Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund was established to support a low-income, first-generation, or student of color, with preference given to a student pursuing one of nine majors in the Business Department.
Carrying Forward Paul’s Legacy
During his nearly 15 years at Flagler, Paul touched the lives of thousands of students. Through this scholarship, his legacy will continue to support future generations, helping students overcome financial barriers and pursue their academic and professional dreams.
