Established in 2002 by the Rotary Club of St. Augustine, this scholarship honors Dr. William L. Proctor, who served as President of Flagler College from 1971 to 2001 and continues to make a lasting impact as Chancellor. Dr. Proctor’s leadership shaped Flagler into the institution it is today, and his commitment to education and service extends beyond the College to the broader community.
This scholarship supports students from St. Johns County, with consideration given to academic achievement and participation in intercollegiate athletics. Preference is given to students with family ties to the Rotary Club, reflecting the organization’s values of service, leadership, and community engagement.
