Learning Resource Center
The Learning Resource Center (LRC) is Flagler College’s hub for peer collaboration, connection, and academic support. Led by more than 80 trained peer tutors, the LRC provides mentorship by Flagler students, for Flagler students.
What began as a small group of math and writing tutors has grown into a comprehensive network of support, including the Writing Center, Math and Business Lab, Natural Sciences Learning Lab, Tutoring in the Disciplines, Academic Success Center, Accountability Center, and Embedded Peer Educator Program. Services range from drop-in to appointment-based sessions, supporting students across a wide range of academic needs.
Our Roar & Raise Goal
Our goal is to raise $5,000 to support the training and professional development of our student staff.
Funds will help:
• Support meaningful training experiences for peer tutors
• Expand leadership and communication development opportunities
• Strengthen collaboration across academic disciplines
• Provide resources that prepare students for future careers
This investment ensures our tutors are equipped to support their peers effectively.
Why Your Support Matters
Your support directly impacts the student experience by strengthening peer-led learning across campus.
With your help, we can:
• Prepare tutors to lead thoughtful, student-centered sessions
• Build a stronger culture of academic collaboration
• Empower students to grow as mentors and leaders
• Enhance the quality of support available to all Flagler students
These efforts create a lasting impact both inside and outside the classroom.
Thank You
Thank you for supporting the Learning Resource Center and prioritizing student development. Your generosity allows us to continue building a community where students learn together, grow together, and succeed together.
We truly appreciate your support.
