COM Fund for Excellence

The COM Fund for Excellence provides Flagler College students with hands-on, transformative learning opportunities that extend far beyond the classroom. Through this fund, students in Communication programs are able to bring their creative visions to life while gaining real-world experience that prepares them for their future careers.

Students have used this support to produce impactful documentary films on critical issues such as shark fin fishing, conduct international reporting projects in South Africa, and present their work at professional conferences. These experiences not only strengthen their skills but also expand their perspectives and professional networks.

Many of these high-impact opportunities require funding for travel, equipment, and production costs. Without this support, students may not be able to fully pursue the stories they are passionate about telling or gain the experiences that shape their careers.

Our Roar and Raise Goal

Our Roar and Raise goal is to raise $2,500 to support student production, reporting, travel, and professional development opportunities.
