About

Graphic Design Program

Flagler College’s Graphic Design program is where creativity meets real-world experience. Students develop strong foundations in design theory, branding, and visual communication while working with industry-standard tools in collaborative studio environments.

With small class sizes and personalized mentorship, students are encouraged to take creative risks, refine their voice, and build professional portfolios that prepare them for careers in design and beyond. Set in the inspiring backdrop of historic St. Augustine, the program blends artistic exploration with practical application.

Students can pursue a major, minor, or Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design, gaining hands-on experience through internships, portfolio development, and thesis projects that showcase their skills at a professional level.

Our Roar and Raise Goal

Our Roar and Raise goal is to raise $2,500 to support student opportunities, professional development, and creative initiatives within the Graphic Design program.

Our Fundraising Priorities

Your support will help provide:

• Entry into design and advertising competitions such as ADDY Awards and AIGA Portfolio Reviews
• Travel and participation in national design conferences
• Memberships in professional organizations like AIGA
• Guest speakers and workshops with industry professionals
• On-campus initiatives such as AIGA Design Week and collaborative student projects

Why Your Support Matters

Your generosity empowers students to take their work beyond the classroom.

With your support, we can:

• Expand access to professional experiences and industry exposure
• Help students build competitive, career-ready portfolios
• Strengthen connections between students and design professionals
• Foster innovation, collaboration, and creative confidence

These opportunities are essential in preparing students to succeed in a rapidly evolving creative industry.

Preparing Creative Leaders

The Graphic Design program is designed to prepare students not just for jobs, but for leadership in the creative field. Through hands-on projects, research, internships, and exhibitions, students graduate with the experience and confidence to make an impact in their careers.
