Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S)!
The Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) office at Flagler College is dedicated to promoting safety standards that protect the wellbeing of our community and the environment. This year, we’re raising funds to purchase additional Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to ensure rapid response times in emergencies, expanding coverage across our campus.
Currently, we have 25 AEDs, but several buildings still lack this critical life-saving equipment. Every minute counts in the event of sudden cardiac arrest—survival rates drop by over 50% if defibrillation doesn’t occur within the first five minutes. Additional AEDs will not only enhance the safety of the Flagler community but also reassure parents, students, employees, and guests.
